The Mass History Conference is the state’s premiere networking place for public history organizations. From 2008 to 2016, as program officer at Mass Humanities, I shepherded this growing annual service conference, held at College of the Holy Cross, Worcester. It collaboratively organized by and for a gowing cast of professional and volunteer staff of historical organizations, independent professionals, and students in public history under the sponsoring umbrella of Mass Humanities. Currently, the conference is transitioning from the umbrella of Mass Humanities to that of the Massachusetts History Alliance.
